Sky Nelson has received songwriting awards with West Coast Songwriter’s for Best Song and Best Performance, and from Indie International Song Contest for “Live in Love” and “We Are the Ones (We’ve Been Waiting For)”. His newest work, “The World Ocean”, (available at www.skynelson.com) is a prophetic singer-songwriter album inspired by dreams of giant tsunamis and rising water levels. It is written for a time of immense global change and overwhelming transitions.
Sky Feelin ItYet hearing the music is just the beginning of understanding Sky. Sky is a trained physicist and a dedicated social activist. All his talents come together in his vision for a planet living in alignment with itself.
Sky has developed a theory on the physics of meaningful coincidences or synchronicity. His theory has been presented over the past year at a number of conferences (Society for Scientific Exploration, Boulder CO; Toward a Science of Consciousness, Tucson, AZ; Science and Non-Duality conference, San Rafael, CA; Asilomar United Centers for Spiritual Living conference, CA), and is forthcoming for publication in the Journal for Scientific Exploration. The theory is based on understanding how quantum mechanics applies to our everyday world, and it brings up (and attempts to answer) several metaphysical questions. Sky has had two articles published in New Thought publications in 2009 on the physics of synchronicity. (www.expectingsynchronicity.com) His first research paper has been accepted for publication with the Journal for Scientific Exploration.

Sky strives to convey his understanding of the physical principles of synchronicity through his writing, and also to live and to practice them himself through his professional music career. After all, it is synchronicity which allows us to find ways through the obstacles and achieve our dreams. Sky’s hope is that it is possible to transform humanity’s worldview into an understanding of synchronicity which will allow us to resolve our problems and achieve our dreams as a civilization.

Testimonials:
"How wonderful to experience and understand a physics connection between 'unobserved reality' and the experiences of life." Rev. Gloria Diamond Conley"I just wanted to share with you that I feel changed having met you. I feel different, inspired mostly. You are living your life with so much purpose and it has really touched me.That Sunday morning when I decided to go to this service for the first time, I had the experience of wanting to just stay small, un-opinionated and in the background of my life. And this surge of energy came through me and guided me to expanding this concept. I decided just to explore and looked up the service times and went with an open-mind to check it out- so I went, then you sang, "there is nothing big about playing small" and all was confirmed for me. I totally believe in synchronicity and just feel so blessed I listened, and feel inspired to do that more and with more confidence....You are amazing and have touch my life and I wish you all the best and I really appreciate you! I love the CD's I got from you and feel so calmed and centered when I hear your voice sing...you have this gift and you must express yourself! I am so glad that you are listening to yourself, you are changing the world."Congregant, Center for Spiritual Living "When I heard Sky perform in person I was so struck by his sincerity - and I know that he really walks his talk. He actually gave me a business card I could plant in the ground and it would grow flowers! His songs are well written, beautifully executed, engaging and very insightful. Not only that - he can play piano with his hands and his feet! You have to see this. I look forward to hearing more of his music and reading his article in the Science of Mind Magazine." Gail Maynard Austin Center for Spiritual Living Board Member (former music director) Austin, Texas "Sky, you and I had a brief conversation about how your journey as a full-time musician was going and I recall that you told me that the thing that had expedited your success was not talent but interpersonal relationships. That observation has been incredibly eye-opening. It also helps me to understand on a real-to-my-life anecdotal level why talent alone can only take you so far and that talent or lack thereof is in many ways in the ear of the listener." Congregant, CSL "Now I know how to consciously support myself in creating the life of my dreams. Thanks, Sky!" Peter Stickney, R.Sc. P.
